By clicking to be a beta tester, you agree to the following:
- I have curricular materials for physics for high school students that I would like to contribute to the Portal and/or I am participating in a Portal community activity.
- I understand that the Portal is still in development, is not fully functional, and may have bugs. I am willing to report issues I encounter and/or provide feedback on my experience of the side, using the “provide feedback” button on the right side of the site.
- I agree that during beta, my actions on the Portal will be individually tracked for the purposes of sharing my site activity back with me, for the project team to improve the website, and for identifying potential research directions.
- I agree to receive email about (a) new Portal features, (b) technical issues with the Portal, and (c) opportunities to opt into participating in research projects.

Creating aEnergy and Equity Portal account is free and any information provided will only be used in accordance with our privacy policy. By registering you agree to our terms of service.
Key points of our privacy policy include:
- We use cookies for analytics, improving the website, and personalizing your experience.
- Some of your personal actions on the Portal will be made visible to other registered users including your profile, curricular contributions, comments and implementation reports on curricular resources, following of other users, who you are followed by, posts to discussion forums, and group participation.
- We will not share your personal information with third parties without your explicit permission unless required by law.
- If you would like to opt out of tracking and/or receiving email, you may contact us to have your account removed from the Portal. Before public release of the Energy and Equity Portal, you will have more control over how your personal data is tracked, used, and made visible, while keeping your Portal account.
