The Energy and Equity Portal is an online environment for physics teachers to share and discuss free curricular resources for teaching energy and equity. The objective of the Portal is to support high school teachers in integrating energy, equity, and place in high school physics. We do this by supporting physics teachers in finding and creating curricular materials and engaging in community discussions with other teachers to improve their courses.
The Energy and Equity Portal contains resources contributed by registered users. Resources in the Vetted Library have been screened by the editorial team and judged on the accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of content to the mission of the Portal. Resources in the Community Library and comments in discussion forums have not been screened by Energy and Equity Portal editors. Only registered users may view content in the Community Library and post in community discussions. Considering the real-time nature of community discussions, it is impossible to verify the information posted. The Energy and Equity Portal is not responsible for inappropriate content or copyright infringement in contributions or posts from users, although inappropriate materials will be removed when found.
The Energy and Equity Portal does not vouch for nor warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any contribution or post, and is not responsible for the contents of any contribution or post. Users should be particularly wary of medical, legal or other professional advice posted in community discussions and recognize that it is no substitute for in-person consultation with a competent professional. Contributions and posts express the views of the author(s), not necessarily the views of the Energy and Equity Portal or its editorial staff, or any entity associated with it.
