Highlights:
An assignment to connect electricity generation to students' lives. Students investigate where the electricity in their home comes from.
Summary:
Students are asked to either ask an adult in their home about where the electricity comes from and their electric bill or to explore their neighborhood to find out how the electricity gets to their home. I used this assignment to introduce students to electricity generation and connect it to their lives.
